Tour De Shillelagh IX

On September 26th the Tour de Shillelagh took place. It was a great fall morning for riding. There were a total of 42 riders who took on the challenging 25 mile ride. We had people of all different riding abilities(or disabilities). Riders ages ranging from 7 years old to 70(or however old Kevin Morgan is). In the end everyone finished the ride and were able to replenish fluids at the family picnic.
As a result of the ride we were able to bring in over $2,100. These proceeds go to SERF $900, the food bank $900, and the balance back to the club to help defray the cost of the picnic. Thanks go out to all those who helped run the event, to those who sponsored the riders, and of course all those who endured the ride.
Sincerely Don Bruchez.
PS Keep in mind that we put a team together every May for the multiple sclerosis ride along the Jersey shore.
